Tryout Policy
Prior to the opening of player registration, specific dates for tryouts will be established and communicated in the registration system. Additionally, email communications may be sent to all Wayzata Lacrosse members as soon as dates are confirmed.
All players must have appropriate equipment as specified by rule for tryouts. Players without all necessary equipment will not be allowed to participate in tryouts.
Players who are unable to attend published tryout dates will be placed on an appropriate “B” level team, with the following exceptions:
- Players who are ill or have injuries that would prevent them from trying out on the specified dates may ask to be evaluated based on their performance to date with a note from a physician.
- Players who are scheduled to compete in other Wayzata Lacrosse games (i.e. box players have a scheduled game that is at the same time as tryouts for field lacrosse) may be given additional consideration.
No other exceptions will be accommodated.
No additional tryouts will be available other than those published at registration.
All evaluator decisions are final and no appeals will be permitted.
